St. Louis companies, TCARE and CareSignal are partnering to bring COVID-19 programs to communities across the country. Together, they have developed a series of programs related to the virus: COVID Companion, COVID Connect and COVID Staff Report.

TCARE is an accredited family caregiver support program. They are an evidence-based, CMS 1115-approved & ACL-accredited solution to prevent family caregiver burnout. Their design allows for the delay/prevention of nursing home placement. Previously, TCARE has been a recipient of an Arch Grant.

CareSignal is a patient monitoring platform that improves payer and provider performance. CareSignal allows for teams to receive real time alerts remotely and respond to patients through text messages or phone calls.

COVID Companion is a texting platform that shares information about local public health resources and recommendations. To subscribe any patient or community member simply has to text “HEALTH” to 67634.

COVID Connect is a patient-facing texting platform that allows patients to monitor their symptoms from home. It also allows patients to connect to a COVID-19 hotline if needed.

COVID Staff Support is a provider-facing texting platform to help healthcare professionals. This program will allow them to self-monitor symptoms of COVID-19 and report PPE issues.
