StepNPull Sales Rocket During Fight Against Coronavirus
During a worldwide pandemic, a company whose mission is to reduce the spread of germs has become increasingly popular. StepNPull is a foot-operated door opener attached to the bottom of bathroom doors. This product allows users to open interior doors while minimizing the risk of cross-contamination. It’s made from 70% recycled aluminum and is manufactured in the Springfield and Joplin areas.
StepNPull was created 13 years ago in Springfield, Missouri by founders Mike Sewell, Ron Ely and Kelly Coddington. With partnerships like their affiliation with the efactory, StepNPull has seen steady growth over the last 13 years.
Before the spread of COVID-19, StepNPull had already made it into the offices of companies like Boeing, Coca-Cola, Ford, Facebook, Walmart, NASA and many more. However, in response to the pandemic’s outbreak, government agencies, healthcare systems, and universities are on a mission to create more sanitary facilities.
“We have been hit with an overwhelming amount of demand for the product. It’s everything you dream of as a small business owner, but we need to make sure we are responding accordingly. We have looked at every part of our supply chain, and we’re ramping up manufacturing to thousands of units a day in coordination with Missouri-based manufacturers.” says co-owner Mike Sewell.
