Curate Inc. is a St. Louis-based startup who created a software for florists to generate fast proposals and accurate orders. Their simple to learn and easy to use program allows florists to be more, efficient, more profitable, and free up their time.

Recently, Curate Inc. has expanded their reach in the floral market with the acquisition of the California firm, BloomTrac. BloomTrac has developed software designed to streamline the planning process for event florists. From this acquisition, Curate and BloomTrac will merge each company’s software into a single platform under the Curate brand.

"Curate started at our own kitchen table trying to make our event floral company work better and led to us being able to invest in thousands of other small businesses. By acquiring BloomTrac we are investing even more into the floral space. This will also afford opportunities to gain more feedback and build solutions that help all of our customers grow and thrive,” Ryan O’Neil, CEO of Curate, said.

O’Neil imagines that the purchase of BloomTrac will station Curate as the software leader for the florist industry. In the future, Curate hopes to expand their employee count from 14 and add to the team. In 2019, they announced that they had raised $450,000 in a funding round backed by local venture capital firm Cultivation Capital.
